It is coated with a versatile, long lasting acrylic adhesive. This backing provides some of the advantages of a metal tape without the associated weight. A mirror-like finish gives the tape high visibility and maintains its bright appearance for up to 3 months. The tape is mounted on a polyester backing that provides long-term aging, high tear resistance, good temperature resistance and high strength.
