3M™ Scotchfil™ Electrical Insulation Putty is a 125 mil thick, non corrosive, mastic adhesive that offers optimized adherence. This tape shaped putty has outstanding aging properties and is ideal for creating a resin dam at resin pressure joints. It helps to seal multi conductor cable connections, as well as wire exits at high voltage joints. RoHS 2011/65/EU Compliant.

Inorganic-based, halogen-free material. UL94 VO, 5VA flame rating at low thickness UL file E65069. Excellent ignitability resistance. Excellent arc and track resistence. Good dielectric strength. Good convertibility - material is easily slit, cut, formed, and die cut. Applied to areas above cells to enhance electrical insulation post cell burst.

Intended for electric vehicle applications, 3M™ Torch Flame Resistant Barrier SE Series can help provide under battery pack lid, cell vent path, and certain other battery component protection in the event of cell venting or thermal runaway scenarios. 3M offers two tiers of 3M Torch Flame Resistant Barrier (TFRB) depending on customer design requirements. TFRB-SE1 is an assymmetrical product utilizing a single-sided reinforcing layer for a more cost effective solution. TFRB-SE3 adds a second layer of mechanical reinforcement to create a symmetrical product with additional barrier strength for more demanding applications.
