If left on the surface, these substances will quickly degrade the quality of a priming or paint application. That ,s why even if you cannot visually see residue on the surface, It's a good idea to do a quick cleaning with our solvent. You don#39;t want to discover that hard-to-see residue was still left behind after you see the adverse effects it has on primed and painted surfaces.Important Information3M™ Prep Solvent-70 is a water-based product and is rated at 65g/L Volatile Organic Compounds. Note: Laws controlling the acceptable amounts of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC ,s) vary by state, and in some cases by locality.
