Adhesion Promoters

Our 3M™ Adhesion Promoter 111 is a fast-acting, isopropyl alcohol based solution designed to promote better and faster adhesion of 3M™ VHB™ Tapes. This product works particularly well for adhering 3M VHB Tapes to high surface energy substrates like galvanized steel, bare metals, and painted surfaces.

3M™ Silane Glass Treatment AP115 is an IPA based silane glass treatment that is used in conjunction with 3M™ VHB™ Tape to promote adhesion. It is easy to apply using the 4 fl. oz. spray bottle and is also available in a 1 gallon bulk bottle. It is clear in color.

3M™ Adhesion Promoter 86A is a liquid €œprimer" designed to be used with 3M™ Polyurethane Protective Tapes and Boots and other acrylic adhesives to enhance initial adhesion in demanding situations. 3M 86A promoter is designed to promote faster initial adhesion to certain types of surfaces, such as polyurethane paint, epoxy primers or epoxy composites.
