        An Easy-to-Process Tape for Tough Applications3M™ Double Coated Tape 9495 is a 5.7 mil black PET tape featuring a .5 mil polyester film carrier which delivers excellent handling during processing such as slitting, die-cutting and laminating. The face side is coated with 2.9 mils and the back side with 2.3 mils of 3M™ Adhesive 200MP, known as the industry standard for applications such as nameplate and graphic attachment. This adhesive delivers excellent shear strength as well as exceptional temperature and chemical resistance for tough environments.A 4 mil, 58-lb. polycoated kraft liner adds stability for efficient processing such as die-cutting. It features outstanding adhesion to metal, polycarbonate (PC), ABS and polyester (PET), making it popular across many industries. This adhesive provides some initial repositionability for placement accuracy when bonding to plastics. It also performs well after exposure to humidity and hot/cold cycles, providing confidence that the switch will perform through difficult environmental conditions and millions of actuations. About Double Coated TapeIn general, double coated tape is composed of a paper, film or tissue carrier that is coated on both sides with pressure sensitive adhesive.
